A wheelchair-adapted VW Caddy that has been used as a taxi and seen a lot of road is being sold FOR REPAIR. I made a short YouTube video of the car showing that some parts work and that it can be driven. Cold start at -8 °C succeeds. It does not stall, idle is steady, gears work as shown. ENGINE WARNING LIGHT IS ON.


At higher revs, near 3,000 rpm and above, when accelerating, the glow plug light starts to flash. It feels like the engine does not have full power. Fault codes were read with a cheap OBD reader; pictures of them are also in this listing. This is the car's main problem. The cause is unknown.


The Webasto heater does not work.


The interior fan's direction control does not work well. The knob is taped so the fan cannot be set to blow anywhere other than the windscreen. The direction control can stick.


The blower motor cuts out occasionally. It starts again if you hit it with your palm.


The car has decent winter tyres underneath. It still drives on the summer tyres and these are included too. There is a photo of them in this listing. The third row of seats is included. No cracks in the windscreen. A few small rust spots in the paint. The exhaust pipe has been welded and repaired. All injectors have been replaced once at different times. Flywheel replaced, etc.


The car has a working alcolock included in the sale. Next calibration 8 December 2026.

The car has been parked in the yard for a few months, almost unused.
