Defects and other observations

The car has stood for a couple of months, after which a light rumbling started to be heard from the rear when braking – the service mentioned it could be the brake calipers, but the inspection raised no concerns.


Rust on the sills, a hole in the right rear sill. (See service pictures with note)


Apparent oil leak from the underside (not investigated in detail)


Slight loss of brake fluid – has needed topping up only rarely. (According to online sources, replacing the cap may help)


Last year's inspection noted the air-conditioning compressor clutch was noisy, but this was not mentioned this time.
