The device is simple to operate: once the desired felling direction is chosen and the required felling notch has been cut into the tree, the wedge is pushed into the saw cut and the trigger is pressed. The threaded rod driven by the cordless tool pushes the wedge forward between the stainless steel lamellae, opening the saw cut and causing the tree to fall in the chosen direction.

The mechanical felling guide generates the force needed to fell trees precisely in the desired direction, easily and without straining the operator. The safety distance must be twice the length of the tree to be felled. A single 4 Ah battery can fell dozens of trees.
