The device's operating principle is simple: once the felling direction has been decided and the required notch has been cut in the tree, the wedge is inserted into the saw cut and the trigger is pressed. The threaded rod driven by the cordless tool pushes the wedge, which moves between stainless steel lamellae, forward. The saw cut opens and the tree falls in the desired direction.

The mechanical felling director generates the force to fell trees exactly in the desired direction easily and without tiring the faller. The safety distance must be twice the length of the tree to be felled. A single 4 Ah battery can be used to fell dozens of trees.
