Safe felling requires great care and precision. Forget felling irons, old-fashioned wedges, strap winches and luck. Jokijärvi's felling wedge can be used in several ways either with a battery impact wrench, a ratchet wrench or a powerful cordless tool. Easy to carry.

The device's operating principle is simple: once the chosen felling direction is decided and the required felling notch has been cut, the wedge is inserted into the saw cut and the trigger is pressed, whereupon the threaded rod driven by the cordless tool pushes the wedge that moves between stainless steel lamellae forward, opening the saw cut and causing the tree to fall in the desired direction.

The mechanical felling director produces the force needed to fell trees exactly in the desired direction easily and without straining the faller. The safety distance must be twice the length of the tree being felled. A single 4 Ah battery can fell dozens of trees.
