The fault list surprised us at the MOT. A new front brake caliper and brake hose were fitted and we thought that would be enough. The inspector, unlike our previous experiences, went into detail and wrote down many minor items. Most faults are those that appear when a vehicle has been standing; this van has seen very little use with us. At one point a double leaf spring was fitted (used leaf) which has now broken — it can be removed if desired as it was only an added reinforcement and not original. The van therefore has both relatively new springs at the rear. All brakes were serviced then, so the handbrake fault is due to low use and adjustment. The windscreen washer reservoir is frozen (summer fluid) but the unit itself works. The engine oil leak needs at least a wash for the inspection and this has been noted. Some items are almost laughable; the inspector was very thorough. With a tidy job you can get a good vehicle because the mechanics are very good, the batteries are fine, summer and winter tyres are OK, some are new — so there are two sets of tyres and rims (6 pcs). The van runs well and the clutch, gearbox and engine are in good condition.

Box body approx. 4.5 m, about 2 m high. The body is insulated and fitted with a Webasto heater that works.
