The contract is concluded between the bankruptcy estate and the buyer. The provisions on consumer sales in the Consumer Protection Act do not apply to this auction. Bids cannot be cancelled and items cannot be returned. Failure to pay the purchase price will be charged as resale and handling costs equal to 10% of the purchase price, but at least €100. In addition, the buyer may be charged the actual and reasonable costs caused by the cancellation of the sale. Outstanding receivables may be transferred to a debt collection agency.
