For sale: a tidy-for-its-age BMW 325 four-door with a three-litre engine. I have a few too many cars now, so the extras are being passed on.


Engine oil and filter were changed last spring, both rear front control-arm bushes replaced and a four-wheel alignment carried out.

In the autumn the high-pressure pump and the bonnet release cables were replaced.


Cons

  • The driver’s side headlight height adjustment does not work — likely the circuit board has gotten moisture inside the headlamp; the part costs about €90.

  • The radio cuts out occasionally due to the wiring harness (boot wiring harness approx. €120, a known fault).


There was a recall for replacement of the steering-wheel airbag; I will give more information to the new owner (this does not affect the MOT — confirmed).


A bit of history


The BMW was imported from Austria to Finland in 2013 and immediately treated with rust protection (body tidy for its age). It had two owners before me. In Finland the first owner had it for 10 years, the next for just under two years, and it came to me last winter.


Equipment is nothing special compared with modern cars: M-sport suspension package, M-sport steering wheel, M-sport trims and M-sport wheels; summer tyres used for one season and winter tyres in fair condition on their own alloy wheels, and a DEFA block heater with an interior socket plus a fixed DEFA maintainer charger for the battery.
