The cleaning effect of an ultrasonic cleaner is produced by transmitting waves (invisible to the human eye) through the cleaning fluid in the water. This creates thousands of tiny cavitation centres (microbubbles), which then collapse under the same sound waves. The penetration of these microbubbles causes local, rapid pressure changes that detach dirt particles (grease, other impurities) from the surface of the item. With this method you can effectively clean all surfaces submerged in the tank without scrubbing or wiping the dirt.

When a suitable fluid is used, it is ideal for disinfecting all kinds of items.
