We want to offer saunas for different purposes and the Traditional log sauna is intended especially for those who want a gentle backyard sauna experience at lower cost. The Traditional log sauna doesn’t fuss – it has good basic benches and an excellent Harvia stove with a glass door. From the sauna you step straight onto a small terrace to cool off, and when your toes begin to feel the chill, turn around and return to the benches waiting just inside the door. Just add more wood to the stove, listen to the hypnotic hum of the wood-fired stove and enjoy the great steam. There is always something magical about sauna-bathing in the yard. Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s high-quality saunas are built spaciously with compact use of space. The Traditional log sauna with front terrace is just the right size for 3–5 people. The heart of the small log sauna is the Harvia M3 stove with a glass door. The glass door creates atmospheric firelight in the sauna, especially in autumn and winter. Add the optional stove-integrated water tank to your order and you’ll have hot washing water for bathers, so a shower is not necessary for basic washing. The highest point of the sauna is almost 2.5 metres and the sauna area is just over 4 square metres. A sturdy and safe chimney package is naturally included. Remember to use fire carefully and responsibly.

As an extra accessory, the Sauna-Seppo washing-water filter removes dirty-water worries, since water drained through the filter can be released back to nature without building-control fines.

Honestly built from logs

We manufacture the Traditional log sauna with front terrace from handsome Finnish 45 x 145 mm spruce logs. Wood-built is always a warm and ecological choice. The sauna has spruce benches in two tiers and two windows provide light, one of which is in the door. The windows are top-quality aluminium-framed insulated glazing that keep the heat inside.

We manufacture the foundation packs from high-quality pressure-treated wood known for its durability and longevity. Pressure-treated wood protects foundations from moisture, rot and pests, ensuring the sauna stands stable and secure for decades. Choosing a ready foundation pack saves time, effort and stress!

Soon you can start assembling!

We are happy to deliver the complete package to your home yard and you don’t need lifting equipment if you choose delivery by hiab truck. The package includes eaves boards, a complete black bitumen tile roofing set, felt nails, a lockable external door with fittings and also terrace floorboards. You will receive instructions and building-permit drawings in advance on request so that when the delivery arrives you can get straight on with making your new handsome backyard sauna ready for use. You will need a drill, screwdriver, hammer, saw, tape measure, pencil and steady enthusiasm for the assembly. Always read the instructions carefully before carrying out any work.
