These were the words on our flipchart when we began designing a higher-quality, more spacious hot tub. We turned the idea into a product and so the Premium Hot Tub range was born, offering room to lounge with a two-metre diameter! You can enjoy the luxurious space alone, but the Premium Hot Tub also fits a whole group of friends. Children have plenty of room for more boisterous water play in this high-quality giant. We improved the Premium Hot Tub by adding a step to make it easier to use, creating the Premium Step In Hot Tub — easier for children and older people to step into and out of when cooling off. The step's multi-use design makes this tub even more premium.

Easy-to-use, versatile Step In step

You might not expect one plastic step to do so much, but it does. We designed the Step In stair to make entering the tub easier. The step naturally helps when getting into and out of the tub, but it also works as a seat for a smaller child whose head might otherwise sink under water. Parents can relax better knowing the child has a suitably sized step. In use we’ve also found the step to work well as a handhold — the step makes the Premium Step In Hot Tub a convenient lounging tub. The Step In solution makes the Premium Step In Hot Tub suitable for all ages and eases bathing for people with reduced mobility.

The Premium class adds extra size to your tub

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka we make quality hot tubs, but the Premium range goes a step further thanks to its large size. With the Premium series you get a bigger tub and premium-level comfort. In smaller tubs feet can easily get cramped in the middle, but an extra 30–40 cm in diameter works wonders! The water volume does not increase significantly and the Premium Step In Hot Tub is ready to use in almost the same time as smaller tubs. A wealth of choices

We apologise in advance for making one part of buying a tub a little difficult — but it’s a good problem. You get to choose to style the Premium Step In Hot Tub to your taste. You can pick the shell colour from five options. That’s not all: you can also choose the exterior cladding from three materials and the cover colour in black or grey. The colour range is inspired by nature — options include sea‑blue and lichen grey. All colour schemes are compatible and work well together.

Insulation for northern conditions

To achieve top-class insulation we wrapped the Premium Step In Hot Tub in proper thermal layers. Under the plastic shell there is 44 cm of EPS insulation, which keeps frost out and the bathing water warm even in colder winter weather. We added ample thermo‑plastic insulation to the sides so the edges are insulated too. This very efficient hot tub keeps heat so well that a well-covered Premium Step In Hot Tub can still be warm the next day. For winter bathing we recommend burning one load of wood before the next day’s use. Oxygen tablets added after an evening bath also freshen the water for the next session. Then enjoy again — or, if it’s the children, more splashing.

Powerful heating

Our efficient marine‑aluminium Arctic stove heats the water to bathing temperature in a couple of hours. The 35 kW stove is made of durable marine‑grade aluminium that conducts heat well. The stove has a beautiful glass hatch so the wood‑fired tub gives a pleasant glow without opening the hatch to check the fire.

The marine‑aluminium stoves included in Hyvän Kaupan Paikka hot tub packages are made in Finland. The high‑power stove handles even seawater — it works with both fresh and brackish water. Carefully chosen material details make the stove a top‑quality product. The stove package includes 2 m of flue pipe and a rain cap; for extra pipe, a protective grille or spark arrestor see the accessories list.

Remember that chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium, as chlorine oxidises the aluminium. We recommend changing the water regularly and using active oxygen tablets (see accessories list). Active oxygen treats the water for about 24 hours, after which the water can be used for watering plants as it contains no added chemicals and is safer for children. Untreated water can easily form slippery residue on the tub edges, but active oxygen prevents this.

Carefree plastic shell

The uniquely shaped and ergonomically designed shell of the Premium Step In Hot Tub is rotationally moulded Jaxal polyethylene. This plastic has a memory — it wants to keep the shape it was moulded into. The low‑maintenance plastic shell stands the test of time, and we therefore give it a ten‑year warranty.

Because the plastic shell has no moulded seams, dirt cannot collect in hidden places. Still, remember to keep the shell surfaces clean when changing water. This is easy with normal cleaning agents. Careful users can occasionally disinfect the shell, but make sure wastewater is disposed of correctly.
