Output and number of ozone plates and power supplies

40,000 mg/h: 4 dual-sided ozone plates and 2 power supplies.

Ion production requires an ioniser unit inside the machine. The ozone plates do not produce ions.

If the device you buy is claimed to produce negative ions, check that the unit contains the ion-producing component shown in the last picture.

ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions added to indoor air cause light, positively charged particles to clump together and fall out of the breathing zone. Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air, which are harmful when inhaled. Toxins produced by some microbes—microbial toxins—are a significant health hazard when they enter the lungs and bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that do not mix into the air cause harm via spores only.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation is based on high concentrations.

When the device produces negative ions in addition to ozone, performance is 5–10 times better than ozone alone and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials such as upholstery and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk. Harmful fine particles enter the bloodstream via the lower lungs and can cause serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

Ozonation combined with negative ionisation cleans indoor air of harmful fine particles, bacteria, moulds, viruses and various gases.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation work particularly effectively in a positively pressurised building.

    Together ozone and negative ionisation form compounds that efficiently remove microbial spores and various odours — for example sewer gases, smoke smells, bacterial and mould toxins, and ingrained cooking and tobacco odours.

    Ozone and negative ionisation also remove fine particles, MVOC (microbial volatile organic compounds) and VOCs from the air.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation produce a pleasant, easy‑to‑breathe indoor air; people feel comfortable in such a clean space.

    Together they provide very clean indoor air for workspaces as well.

Indoor ozonation cannot be carried out while people are present because ozone is produced in high concentrations to destroy microbial spores. The combined effect of high ozone and negative ion concentrations achieves good cleaning results even in porous materials. After purification the treated space is ventilated and occupants may return.
