Impressive, rare giant piece from a firearms collection!

Incredible and huge 2-barrel percussion-cap pistol, dated 1869–1879.

Genuine — no purchase permit required!

Muzzle-loading!

Length nearly 40 cm and calibre 18 mm!

Formidable hand-cannon — double blast!

Small modest rifling grooves: 4 grooves per barrel, so the barrels are rifled.

Mechanisms and springs intact; the left side may be in firing condition,

the right side also works when the trigger is operated; it needs some basic servicing and cleaning of the mechanisms.

French marks on the barrels; made between 1869–1879 — approximately 150 years old.

Fine patterning on the barrel surfaces, visible in the photos.
