Ultrasonic cleaners are ecological cleaning systems. 

The cleaning effect of an ultrasonic cleaner is achieved by transmitting waves (invisible to the human eye) through the water containing the cleaning fluid. This produces thousands of tiny cavitation centres (microbubbles) which then collapse under the same sound waves. The penetration of the microbubbles causes local, rapid pressure changes that remove dirt particles (grease and other impurities) from the surface of the item. With this method you can effectively clean all surfaces immersed in the cleaner without scrubbing or wiping away dirt.

With a suitable cleaning fluid it is ideal for disinfecting all kinds of objects.
