The consumer sale provisions of the Consumer Protection Act do not apply to this auction. Bids cannot be cancelled and items cannot be returned. Failure to pay the purchase price will incur resale and handling charges amounting to 10% of the purchase price, but at least €100. In addition, the buyer may be charged the actual and reasonable costs caused by the cancellation of the purchase. Unpaid receivables may be handed to a collection agency for recovery.
