Ice-hole de-icing device keeps the swimming hole usable throughout the winter.

Installation: At the end of the jetty — the end of the flexible air hose is lowered to the bottom in front of the ladder together with a weight.

The rubber air hose withstands −40 to +40 °C.

The air hose is routed from the hole along the jetty edge towards the shore; the hose length is 10 m.

The air pump's protective box should be placed on the jetty or shore where spring water and ice cannot reach it.

In shallow water you can add extra weights to the hose so it runs along the bottom and does not catch on a foot.

You can free the jetty's walkway from ice by drilling holes in the ice alongside the walkway and moving the de-icing head into the holes as required.

This helps protect the jetty from ice damage. In late winter, overnight frost can push expanding ice toward the shore.

The air motor has a 2-year replacement warranty from the date of purchase.

Five months' winter electricity cost is under €20 in total, even if the unit runs continuously. (Calculated at €0.09/kWh)

Additionally you only need an extension lead to plug into the socket in the protective box.
