ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced into indoor air cause light, positively charged particles to agglomerate by attaching to them, producing larger, heavier particles that fall quickly out of the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air, which are very harmful when inhaled. Toxic compounds produced by microbes and dispersed into indoor air as aerosols can cause severe health harm if they reach the lungs and bloodstream. Non‑dispersed, heavy microbial toxins cause harm via spores, which are the carriers of those dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation depends on high concentrations.

When a device produces negative ions in addition to ozone, its effectiveness is 5–10 times better than ozone alone and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials, e.g. sofas and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles enter the bloodstream via the lower lungs (alveoli) and cause serious health problems beyond asthma and allergies.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation work particularly effectively in a positively pressurised building.

    Ozone and negative ionisation together form compounds that can effectively remove microbial spores and various odours, such as sewer gases, smoke smells, bacterial and mould toxins, and stubborn cooking and smoking odours.

    Ozone and negative ionisation also remove fine particles and MVOCs (microbial volatile organic compounds) and VOCs.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation result in a pleasant, easy‑to‑breathe indoor air, which is good for people to occupy.

    Together they produce very clean indoor air suitable for workplaces.

Indoor ozonation cannot be carried out while people are present because ozone is produced massively to destroy microbial spores. The combined effect of high ozone concentrations and negative ionisation also achieves good cleaning results in porous materials. After cleaning, the space is ventilated and occupants may return.
