Technically the car runs very well in my opinion; it was used at the A-Katsastus inspection and everything was in order.

At the dealer the gearbox was removed at around 100,000 km and some shift parts were replaced; aluminium oil pipes were changed to plastic ones, seals changed, etc. Due to data protection the dealer cannot give exact details, but service records are reportedly available while repair details are not. According to the previous owner it had a "jerking" issue which Audi fixed.

I bought the car last summer in Jyväskylä after the rallies, drove it into the garage and deregistered it. I updated the car (brakes, wheel bearings) and also changed all drivetrain oils; I removed the injectors, cleaned them in an ultrasonic cleaner and renewed the copper washers. All this was done proactively — the old parts were still serviceable, but e.g. the brakes were about 50% and wheel bearings inevitably need replacing from time to time. All bearings now have under 500 km since replacement, which explains the several months the car was off the road (in case anyone wonders). The plan was to use it for winter; it was returned to the road in December and runs well.
