Here is an all-wheel-drive Golf for slippery winter conditions with robust mechanics and a manual gearbox; the car arrived to us in part-exchange and was used daily by the previous owner.

Mechanically very sensible for its age and mileage; the exterior shows typical wear. The bonnet and some other body panels have been touched up with paint and there are a few minor marks. A DIY-minded mechanic could make it tidy with little effort. It was washed at our premises and our technician noticed that some wheel balancing weights came off during washing, so it now vibrates slightly at 120 km/h.

Two sets of tyres on alloy wheels: summer tyres on VW alloy wheels with 5–6 mm tread. The winter tyres are also on VW alloy wheels and have studless tyres with 5–6 mm tread too!

The previous owner mentioned the Webasto heater does not work, and at the moment a warning light related to it is lit on the instrument cluster.

The bumper has also been hit at some point (likely by a small animal), the grille is missing around the fog lights and from the lower edge of the bumper.

The clutch and gearbox feel to work well — no slipping and the gears engage smoothly.
