The item will be sold in an online auction with bidding on the website www.huutokaupat.com between 28 February 2026 and 11 February 2026. Participation in the auction requires registration. The deadline for placing bids is 11 February 2026 at 18:00 (or 3 minutes after the last accepted bid).

The Enforcement Authority is not responsible for the functioning of the service provider’s system. The highest bid is the bid that the service provider’s system has recorded as highest. The enforcement officer decides whether to accept or reject the highest bid. Bids placed in the online auction are binding. If a bid is accepted, the bidder is obliged to pay the offered purchase price within the agreed payment period. Failure to pay the offered purchase price may lead to the buyer’s liability for compensation under Chapter 5, Section 25 of the Enforcement Code.

The enforcement authority reserves the right to end the sale or extend the sale period.

The property is seized and is sold by the enforcement officer by free sale in accordance with Chapter 5, Section 76 of the Enforcement Code and, where applicable, the general auction terms of the Enforcement Code.

Payment terms

The enforcement officer will notify the highest bidder whether the bid can be accepted. If the bid can be accepted, the buyer must pay the full purchase price by bank transfer to the Enforcement Authority’s official escrow account. Once the payment appears in the escrow account, the enforcement officer will issue a sales decision, which will be delivered to the parties. Payment by credit card is not accepted.

Deposit: If the full purchase price is not paid immediately, the buyer must pay a deposit of 20% of the purchase price immediately.

Payment period: If necessary, up to six weeks’ payment time may be granted for the balance from the sales decision. In that case, annual interest is payable on the whole purchase price for the entire payment period from the date of sale until the end of the payment period. The reference rate is currently 2.50%. If payment has not been made within the granted payment period, annual default interest will be charged, currently 9.50%.

Buyer’s obligations

The buyer is obliged to register the vehicle in their name. Registration is carried out at an inspection office. For registration, the enforcement officer will provide the buyer with a certificate of acquisition once the full purchase price has been paid.

If it is not possible to place bids via the Huutokaupat.com service, an interested buyer may submit a written bid to the enforcement officer. The bid will be entered into the online auction as a maximum bid according to the automatic bidding. The bid must be submitted in writing to the Enforcement Authority no later than 10 February 2026 at 12:00 to the address: Utsökningsverket / Rovaniemi office, Hallituskatu 5 C, 5th floor, 96100 Rovaniemi. A written bid is binding and the same conditions apply as in the online auction. The written bid must be signed and must state the bidder’s contact details, the bid’s maximum amount and the number of the lot in the Huutokaupat.com service to which the bid relates.
