Defects and other observations

An oil leak was detected. Based on the symptom the car was taken to Käyttöauto for diagnosis, but the fault could not be confirmed there.
The car was then taken to another workshop where a more thorough diagnosis was carried out.

Workshop diagnosis:

The engine vents when the oil filler cap is open.
Measured engine blow-by—cylinders 2 and 3 show more blow-by than cylinders 1 and 4.
Turbo inspected > no play.
Possible suspicion towards the engine block.


The workshop recommends replacing the engine.
The car is located at Tampereen Saka and a short test drive has been done; no driving anomalies were noticed on that drive.
