Defects and other observations

During the test drive we observed the following

  • Occasionally the automatic transmission has reported a "gearbox fault". When the warning appears the car is still drivable. The display has shown gear "D3" and then "S" while the snowflake symbol flashes and the service light comes on. The workshop has replaced the pressure control valve and refilled the gearbox with the correct yellow oil (the old oil was red). Measured gearbox oil pressure was 10 bar below the specification. The car has been kept warm indoors since and the fault has not recurred. Expect possible issues and potential gearbox repair.

  • Otherwise the car feels good to drive and mechanically sound


The vehicle has been test-driven by us and fluid levels have been checked. The vehicle has not undergone a full technical inspection by us and not all equipment functions have been tested.
