Colleague sold this Nissan in 2018. Customers have been very satisfied. Last spring it underwent an engine overhaul. The water pump seized and the timing slipped. The engine has since been rebuilt carefully. Replaced or fully refurbished: cylinder head + valves + gaskets, turbo, upper and lower end gasket set, oil cooler, oil pump, drive shaft (right), lower ball joints, anti-roll bar drop links, engine oil, gearbox oils, coolant, clutch/brake fluid, brake pads, EGR valve, boost pressure sensors, boost pressure regulator, fuel filter. In autumn also replaced left track rod end and top mounts of the shock absorbers.


Now it runs nicely. No functional faults. Services have been carried out regularly. No remarks at MOT. A basic family car. No AdBlue system. Good tyres. Straight panels.

No functional warning lights. No alarm sounds. One of the shock-absorber top mounts clicks when steering quickly from lock to lock. According to the customer there may be a delay in throttle response in hot weather; this did not occur during the test drive. Works well otherwise. Likewise, the occasionally flashing fuel-filter warning does not seem to affect operation.
