Glamour camping, or glamping, has arrived in Finland and now at Hyvän Kaupan Paikka. We did not stop at a higher-quality tent fabric; we made glamping accommodation even more stylish and better. We decided to combine the traditional tent form with ecological wood. Thus Arctic Kämp was born, an exclusive way to house cottage guests or grandchildren in your own garden. Why not camp in your own yard and gaze at the blue sky through the beautiful triangular windows?

We combined a triangular structure borrowed from the Vikings with a stripped-down modern Scandinavian design language. Arctic Kämp attracts attention even from the outside: the triangular building is calmingly elegant in every detail. When a traditional cottage does not please your eye, Arctic Kämp is exactly what you are looking for in a distinctive accommodation cabin.

Trendy and sturdy triangular structure

The ridge of the Arctic Kämp cabin rises to three metres, giving plenty of headroom despite its sloping form. The ceiling height creates a pleasant sense of space crowned by a striking window collage made up of four triangular windows. The windows are captivating in the dim evening light. Despite the three-metre height and airy feel, Arctic Kämp is easy to place in a small area on simple foundations. The triangular shape brings many advantages over more traditional building methods.

Stylish and, when needed, discreet

Arctic Kämp is modern and minimal. It slips unobtrusively into a cottage shore as accommodation or as a small rental cabin village on a natural beach. The exterior can be painted in any colour so Arctic Kämp can blend into the landscape if desired. Built from thick boards, Arctic Kämp is straightforward to assemble following the clear instructions.

Compact interior

Open the triangular cabin door and you will find compact interior space where you can sleep, spend a summer day or shelter from rain. The 140 cm plank bed placed in front of the hypnotically beautiful windows also serves as a seating area when furnished with comfortable cushions and blankets. The delivery also includes a two-metre bed frame, a table and two chairs, making the space versatile without extra furnishing. You will need to supply the mattress yourself, as sleeping preferences vary too much for us to include one. The plank bed length is 205 cm, so a standard-length mattress fits comfortably.

In the sample images Arctic Kämp is shown with optional accessories, like the best car adverts. LED light strings are not included, but the images give good ideas for lighting if electricity is available. There are also many rechargeable lighting solutions that create a warm atmosphere inside Arctic Kämp. Whether you use candles, an LED storm lantern or a red light strip, the cabin’s atmosphere is guaranteed. You will enjoy this excellent triangular cabin!

Hassle-free delivery to your yard

Our Arctic Kämp is no small package; it has size and weight. Therefore we deliver the complete unit to your yard. Roof felt is included in the delivery. Foundations are the customer’s responsibility, but they are simple to make for a rectangular base. The floor joists rest on a block foundation and the whole beautiful cabin is then placed on top. Instructions and building permit drawings are available on request in advance so you can start assembling your Arctic Kämp when the delivery arrives. You will need a drill, screwdriver, hammer, saw, tape measure, pencil and patient enthusiasm for the assembly work. Always read the instructions carefully before starting each work stage.
