Easy-to-use, versatile Step In step

You wouldn't think one plastic step could serve so many purposes, but it does. We designed a Step In step to make entering the tub easier. The step naturally helps with getting in and out, but it also works as a seat for a smaller child if their head would otherwise be under water. Parents can relax more when a child has a child-sized step. In use we have found the step also serves as a handy handrail — the step makes the Premium Step In Hot Tub a convenient water lounger. The Step In solution makes the Premium Step In Hot Tub suitable for all ages and easier to use for people with limited mobility.

Premium class adds extra size to your tub

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka we manufacture quality hot tubs, but the Premium series has been taken a step further thanks to its larger size. In the Premium series you get a bigger tub and that means first-class, premium-level comfort. In smaller tubs legs often end up cramped in the middle, but an extra 30–40 cm in diameter works wonders! The tub’s water volume does not increase significantly and the Premium Step In Hot Tub is ready to use in nearly the same time as smaller tubs. Plenty of choices

We apologise in advance for making one part of buying a tub a little tricky. The problem is a good one: you get to make choices so that your Premium Step In Hot Tub is tailored to your taste. You can choose the plastic tub colour from five options. It doesn’t stop there. You can also choose the exterior cladding material from three options and pick the cover colour between black and grey. The tub colour palette is inspired by nature, with options such as sea blue or lichen grey. All colour schemes are compatible and work well together.

Insulation for northern conditions

To achieve first-class insulation, we wrapped the Premium Step In Hot Tub in proper thermal layers. Under the plastic tub there is 44 cm of EPS insulation, which keeps frost at bay and the bathing water warm even in colder winter weather. We also added a generous thermoplastic layer to the tub sides so the edges are insulated too. This highly efficient hot tub retains heat so well that a well-covered Premium Step In Hot Tub will still be warm the next day. For winter bathing we recommend burning one load of wood before the next day’s use. Chlorine tablets added after an evening’s bathing will also freshen the water for the next session. Then just enjoy again — or, for the kids, splash about.

Powerful, boiling efficiency

Our efficient marine-grade aluminium Arctic heater brings the water to bathing temperature within a couple of hours. The 35 kW heater’s marine aluminium is durable and conducts heat well. The heater is fitted with a tasteful glass door so the wood-fired tub creates a beautiful glow without needing to open the door to check the fire.

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s marine aluminium heaters are made in Finland. The high-power heater does not fear even seawater — it works with both fresh and marine water. Carefully considered material details make the heater a top product. The heater package includes 2 m of flue pipe and a rain cap; if you want extra pipe, a chimney guard or a spark guard, check the accessories list.

Remember that chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium, as chlorine begins to oxidise marine aluminium. We recommend changing the water often enough and using active oxygen tablets (see accessories). Active oxygen treats the water for about 24 hours, after which the water can also be used for watering, as it contains no added chemicals and is safer for children. Untreated water easily develops a slimy film on the tub edges, but active oxygen prevents this process.

Carefree plastic tub

The uniquely shaped and ergonomically designed tub of the Premium Step In Hot Tub is rotationally moulded polyethylene (Jaxal). This plastic has memory — it wants to keep the shape it was moulded into. The easy-care plastic tub withstands time well and therefore we dare to offer a ten-year warranty.

Because the plastic shell has no moulded seams, dirt does not collect in specific spots. Remember to clean the tub surfaces when changing the water. This is easy with normal detergents. Exacting users may sometimes disinfect their tub, but remember to handle wastewater correctly.
