• Mannol Ester Additive is an advanced engine and gearbox protection additive based on synthetic esters (Group V oils) and is designed to be added to engine oils and manual gearbox oils. It is suitable for all types of engines – diesel and petrol, four- and two-stroke – and for all types of oils, including synthetic, semi-synthetic, mineral and ester-based oils.

• How does Mannol Ester Additive 9929 work?

The additive's ester molecules are highly polar, causing them to adhere to metal surfaces like a magnet. This forms a dense and very durable oil film that provides the following benefits:

• Top-level load-carrying capacity: Enables safe operation of the engine and/or gearbox even under increased loads.

Superior protection against wear and friction: Significantly extends the service life of engine and gearbox components and helps save fuel.

Effective corrosion inhibition and antioxidant properties.

Effects of the additive on the oil:

Reduces oil evaporation: Lowers oil consumption and extends oil life.

Improves thermal and oxidation stability: Increases the oil's resistance to ageing and breakdown, which may allow longer oil change intervals.

Improves cold-start properties: Makes cold starts significantly easier and reduces engine wear at start-up.

Enhances cleaning: Improves the oil's detergency and dispersancy, preventing the formation of varnish, resins and sludge. This extends the life of both the engine/gearbox and the oil itself.

Treats seals: Penetrates worn oil and rubber seals, restoring their original volume and elasticity, helping to prevent oil leaks.

Compatible with all materials commonly used in engines and gearboxes.

Directions for use:

Add the additive to the engine or gearbox oil during an oil change or to existing oil.

Mixing ratio: 500 ml additive per 5 litres of oil (1:10).
