High-yield, six-stage Adwasys RO370-UV reverse osmosis unit with UV sterilisation for purifying drinking water.

With the Adwasys 370RO-UV you can make freshwater potable without chemicals. The powerful unit can produce up to 370 litres of clean water per day. The six-stage process removes up to 99.99% of impurities, viruses and bacteria. The package includes fittings, filters, a water tank and a drinking water tap.

The reverse osmosis purification system is based on a series of pre- and post-filters and a reverse osmosis membrane that allows only pure water molecules to pass. The final stage is a Philips UV lamp that sterilises viruses and bacteria.

The system has automatic flushing and is maintenance-free apart from filter replacements and any long-term storage and recommissioning. The unit produces water into a pressurised 11-litre tank from which it is immediately available.

Six-stage purification process:

1. STAGE 1: Pre-filtration

• 5 µm polypropylene sediment filter removes particulates such as pollen and fine sand

• Protects the filters in subsequent stages

2. STAGE 2: Activated carbon filtration (granular)

• Effective granular activated carbon removes chlorine, taste and odour

3. STAGE 3: Activated carbon filtration (pressed)

• 1 µm activated carbon cartridge refines water quality by enhancing the previous filters' performance, removing heavy metals, humic substances and organic compounds

• Further reduces taste and odour issues

4. STAGE 4: Reverse osmosis membrane

• 0.1 µm osmosis membrane cartridge (Vontron) 100 GPD

• The main purification occurs by forcing water through the membrane

5. STAGE 5: Mineralisation

• The final mineral filter corrects the water's pH to neutral and freshens the taste by adding small amounts of calcium and magnesium.

6. STAGE 6: UV sterilisation

• Removes all organic material and ensures the water is safe to drink
