Suunto 9 watches will receive a phased update starting 30 March 2021. The update adds new features, performance improvements and some bug fixes. Here is a list of the new features:

• New battery mode, "Retki", with continuous GPS tracking up to 7 days

• Komoot's large region packs provide turn-by-turn navigation and offline features for your selected areas.

• Plan your route in Komoot's desktop or mobile app and sync it to your watch. You will now receive alerts on your watch when, for example, an intersection approaches. Navigation on multi-day hikes and bike tours has never been this easy.

• Save important and interesting waypoints to your watch and navigate to them using your watch
