ABOUT IONISATION:
Negatively charged ions produced into indoor air cause small, positively charged particles to aggregate and fall out of the breathing zone as larger, heavier molecules.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds that are harmful when inhaled. Toxic compounds produced by microbes (microbial toxins) dispersed as aerosol into indoor air are a major health hazard when they reach the lungs and bloodstream. Microbial toxins that do not mix into air mostly cause harm only via spores that produce these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O₃) and negative air ionisation is based on high concentrations.

When a unit produces negative ions in addition to ozone, effectiveness is 5–10 times better than with ozone alone, and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials such as upholstery and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles enter the bloodstream via the deep lung (alveoli) and cause serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

    Ozonation and negative air ionisation work especially effectively in a positively pressurised building.

    Ozone combined with negative air ionisation produces compounds that effectively remove microbial spores and various odours, for example sewer gases, smoke smells, bacterial and mould toxins, persistent cooking and tobacco odours.

    Ozone and negative air ionisation also remove fine particles and MVOC and VOC compounds from the air.

    Ozonation and negative air ionisation produce a pleasant indoor air that is easy to breathe and comfortable to occupy.

    Together they provide very clean indoor air suitable for workplaces.

Ozonation of indoor air cannot be carried out if people are present, because ozone is produced in large amounts to destroy microbial spores. The high ozone concentration combined with negative ionisation achieves good cleaning results even in porous materials. After treatment the space is ventilated and occupants may return.
