Defects and other observations

Before listing the car for sale we carried out a short test drive and made the following observations:

  • Extensive rust

  • Rear door only opens intermittently

  • Both front headlamp units have a crack (they do still work)

  • Steering linkage squeaks when turning (needs greasing)

  • Seatbelt sometimes sticks

  • Rear light broken

  • Timing system reportedly replaced at around 400,000 km, but there is no documentation
