ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced into indoor air bind to light, positively charged airborne particles and cause them to clump into larger, heavier particles that fall out of the breathing zone more quickly.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds that are very harmful when inhaled indoors. Toxic compounds produced by microbes and dispersed as aerosol into indoor air — microbial toxins — form a serious health risk when they reach the lungs and bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that are not airborne cause harm mainly via spores, which are produced by these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation is based on high concentrations.

When a device produces negative ions in addition to ozone, performance is 5–10 times better than ozone alone, and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials, e.g. upholstery and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles travel with inhaled air to the deep lungs (alveoli) and into the bloodstream, causing serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation work particularly effectively in an overpressurised building.

    Ozone together with negative ionisation produces compounds that can effectively remove microbial spores and various odours, e.g. sewer gases, smoke smells, bacterial and mould toxin odours, and stubborn cooking and tobacco smells.

    Ozone and negative ionisation also remove fine particles and MVOC and VOC compounds.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation produce a pleasant, easy-to-breathe indoor air, and such a clean space is good for people to be in.

Indoor ozonation cannot be carried out if people are present, because ozone is produced massively to destroy microbial spores.
