ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced into indoor air cause light, positively charged airborne particles to clump together and fall quickly out of the breathing zone as heavier aggregates.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air, which are harmful when inhaled indoors. Toxic compounds produced by microbes that mix into indoor air as aerosols = microbial volatile compounds, can cause significant health harm when they reach the lungs and bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that do not mix into indoor air mainly pose a risk via spores, which are the producers of these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation is based on high concentrations.

When a unit produces negative ions in addition to ozone, effectiveness is 5–10 times better than ozone alone, and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials such as upholstered furniture and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles are carried into the lower areas of the lungs (alveoli) via breathing into the bloodstream and cause severe health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation are particularly effective in a positively pressurised building.

    Ozone together with negative ionisation produces compounds that can effectively remove microbial spores and various odours, for example sewer gases, smoke smells, bacterial and mould toxin odours, and stubborn food and tobacco odours.

    Ozone and negative ionisation also remove fine particles and MVOC (microbial volatile organic compounds) and VOC (volatile organic compounds).

    Ozonation and negative ionisation produce a pleasant indoor air that is easy to breathe and in which people feel comfortable.

    Ozone and negative ionisation together produce very clean indoor air also suitable for workplaces.

Indoor ozonation cannot be performed while people are present, because ozone is produced massively to destroy microbial spores.
