ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced into indoor air cause light, positively charged airborne particles to attach to them, forming larger, heavier particles that quickly settle out of the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air that are harmful to inhale. Toxic compounds produced by many microbes — microbial toxins — form a serious health risk if they reach the lungs and bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that do not mix into the indoor air pose a health risk mainly via spores, which are the producers of these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative air ionisation is based on high concentrations.

When the device produces negative ions in addition to ozone, performance is 5–10 times better than ozone alone and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials, for example upholstered furniture and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles travel with inhaled air to the lower parts of the lungs (alveoli) and into the bloodstream, causing serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergy.

    Ozonation and negative air ionisation work especially well in a positively pressurised building.

    Ozone and negative air ionisation together produce compounds that can effectively remove microbial spores and various odours, for example sewer gases, smoke smells, bacterial and mould toxin odours, and stubborn cooking or smoking odours.

    Ozone and negative ionisation also remove fine particles and MVOCs (Microbial Volatile Organic Compounds) and VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) from the air.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation create a pleasant, easy-to-breathe indoor air that is healthy to occupy.

    Ozone and negative ionisation together produce very clean indoor air suitable for workspaces.

Interior ozonation cannot be carried out when people are present, because ozone is produced in large quantities to destroy microbial spores. The high ozone concentrations combined with negative ionisation achieve good cleaning results even in porous materials.
