Item description:

We are auctioning one of our sale bikes — a Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade. The bike is mechanically sound, but a more extensive front-end overhaul is advisable.

It is a 2004 model, fitted with 2006–2007 facelift fairings.

The engine runs cleanly, responds well to the throttle and the electrics work faultlessly.

The bike has been on our sales floor, but during the fork overhaul the workshop found that the front steering head tube has been pressed in. The head tube appears to have been clamped incorrectly in a vice at some point during a fork overhaul (see pictures). It can be ridden as is, but the fork is prone to leaking unless the head tube is straightened or replaced.
