Daiwa 23 Fuego LT2000D

The Daiwa 23 Fuego LT spinning reels are top-quality tools packed with cleverly designed technology. The Fuego LT has a Zaion V carbon-fibre body, not nylon-based plastic. Thanks to the carbon body, Fuego reduces weight by about 3–5% compared with similar reels. Fuego also features an Airdrive rotor, which further reduces weight. Daiwa has also introduced an Airdrive bail made from very strong, stiff metal that is nonetheless thinner and lighter. The aim was to reduce rotational weight, which lowers overall reel weight and makes retrieval easier. The Twistbuster III suits braid well, reducing line twist and eliminating tangles. Magsealed protection helps reduce corrosion and keeps dirt out of the reel.

LT (Light & Tough) reels are designed for modern anglers who fish with braided lines and want more power and better drag performance. Compared with their predecessors, LT reels are physically smaller and lighter while maintaining or even improving line capacity, drag and main gear size.
