High-capacity, six-stage Adwasys RO370-UV reverse osmosis unit with UV sterilisation for producing drinking water.

The Adwasys 370RO-UV makes fresh water potable without chemicals. The efficient unit can produce up to 370 litres of clean water per day. The six-stage process removes up to 99.99% of contaminants, viruses and bacteria. The package includes accessories, filters, a storage tank and a drinking-water tap.

The reverse osmosis system is based on a series of pre- and post-filters and a reverse osmosis membrane that only allows water molecules to pass. The final stage is a Phillips UV lamp that sterilises viruses and bacteria.

The system features automatic flushing and requires no maintenance except for filter changes and any storage and recommissioning after long-term disuse. The unit produces water into a pressurised 11-litre tank, from which it is immediately available.

Six-stage purification process:

1. STAGE 1: Pre-filtration

• 5 µm polypropylene sediment filter removes particulates such as pollen and fine sand

• Protects the downstream filters

2. STAGE 2: Granular activated carbon

• Efficient granular activated carbon removes chlorine, taste and odour

3. STAGE 3: Compressed activated carbon

• 1 µm carbon block finalises water quality by enhancing earlier filters and removing heavy metals, humic substances and organic compounds

• Further reduces taste and odour

4. STAGE 4: Reverse osmosis membrane

• 0.1 µm RO membrane cartridge (Vontron) — approx. 378 litres/day (100 GPD)

• Main purification occurs by forcing water through the membrane

5. STAGE 5: Mineralisation

• The final mineral filter restores pH to neutral and refreshes taste by adding small amounts of calcium and magnesium.

6. STAGE 6: UV sterilisation

• Removes all organic contaminants and ensures the water is safe to drink

A full spare filter set is available for the unit: Adwasys F370 replacement filter pack, and a replacement UV lamp bulb as a spare part.
