High-output, six-stage Adwasys RO370-UV reverse osmosis unit with UV sterilisation for purifying drinking water.

With the Adwasys 370RO-UV you can purify freshwater to drinking quality without chemicals. The powerful unit can produce up to 370 litres of clean water per day. The six-stage process removes up to 99.99% of impurities, viruses and bacteria. The package includes fittings, filters, a water tank and a drinking-water tap.

The reverse osmosis purification system is based on a series of pre- and post-filters and a reverse osmosis membrane that only pure water molecules can pass through. The final stage is a Phillips UV lamp that sterilises viruses and bacteria.

The system has automatic flushing and requires minimal maintenance other than filter changes and any storage and recommissioning after long periods of non-use. The system fills a pressurised 11-litre tank, making water immediately available.

Six-stage purification process:

1. STAGE 1: Pre-filtration

• 5 µm polypropylene sediment filter removes particles such as pollen and fine sand

• Protects the downstream filters

2. STAGE 2: Activated carbon filtration (granular)

• Granular activated carbon removes chlorine and taste and odour issues

3. STAGE 3: Activated carbon filtration (pressed type)

• 1 µm activated carbon filter polishes water quality by enhancing previous filters and removing heavy metals, humic substances and organic compounds

• Further removes taste and odour problems

4. STAGE 4: Reverse osmosis membrane

• 0.1 µm RO membrane cartridge (Vontron) 100 GPD

• Main purification occurs by forcing water through the membrane

5. STAGE 5: Mineralisation

• The final mineral filter corrects the water's pH to neutral and refreshes the taste by adding small amounts of calcium and magnesium.

6. STAGE 6: UV sterilisation

• Removes all organic contaminants and ensures water is safe to drink

A comprehensive replacement filter set is available for the unit: Adwasys F370 replacement filter pack, and a spare UV lamp bulb as a spare part.
