Magnificent Yrjö Kukkapuro 'Atelje' sofa from the 1970s–1980s. Brown leather.


The leather shows surface wear but is still very usable. The springs would need partial replacement if desired, but it is serviceable as is. Some springs have been replaced with alternative straps.


Wooden parts are birch, which pairs excellently with the brown leather.


At its widest, measured across the side cushions, 230 cm; depth up to 82 cm. A sofa of this design was selected for the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York, permanent collection to represent the progressive design of the 1960s.
