High-output, six-stage Adwasys RO370-UV reverse osmosis unit with UV sterilisation for purifying drinking water.

The Adwasys 370RO-UV makes freshwater drinkable without chemicals. The powerful unit can produce up to 370 litres of clean water per day. The six-stage process removes up to 99.99% of impurities, viruses and bacteria. The package includes fittings, filters, a storage tank and a drinking-water tap.

The reverse osmosis system uses a series of pre- and post-filters and an RO membrane that only allows pure water molecules to pass. The final stage is a Phillips UV lamp that sterilises viruses and bacteria.

The system has automatic flushing and is maintenance-free except for filter changes and any storage and re‑commissioning after storage. The system fills a pressurised 11-litre tank from which water is immediately available.

Six-stage purification process:

1. STAGE 1: Pre-filtration

• 5 µm polypropylene fine filter removes particulates such as pollen and fine sand

• Protects downstream filters

2. STAGE 2: Activated carbon filtration (granular)

• Granular activated carbon removes chlorine and taste and odour issues

3. STAGE 3: Activated carbon filtration (pressed)

• 1 µm activated carbon filter refines water quality by enhancing previous filters, removing heavy metals, humic substances and organic compounds

• Further removes taste and odour issues

4. STAGE 4: Reverse osmosis membrane

• 0.1 µm RO membrane cartridge (Vontron) 100 GPD

• Primary purification occurs by forcing water through the membrane

5. STAGE 5: Mineralisation

• The final mineral filter adjusts the water to neutral pH and refreshes the flavour by adding small amounts of calcium and magnesium.

6. STAGE 6: UV sterilisation

• Removes all organic contaminants and ensures the water is safe to drink
