Blimey! Up for auction is the hottest youth favourite right now, freshly inspected & serviced and finished in the tastiest colour, wheel and engine combination. And that’s not all: admire winter’s starry skies through the panorama roof! It’s not a glass-box model either — the rear windows are properly and professionally tinted. Time to scribble this on your Christmas wish list: perhaps Father Christmas will bid on it for you and deliver it on Christmas Eve? That’s possible — the auction ends on 21 December 2025, so this could really be a big present. Of course we won’t mind if you pick it up in the New Year 2026. In honour of the coming Christmas, this will be sold to the highest bidder with no reserve!

This star ship passed inspection with no remarks on 5 December 2025 and the next periodic inspection is due by 7 December 2026. At the same time it received the larger scheduled service: engine oil and all filters were changed (oil, air and pollen/cabin). On this car even the injector seals aren’t leaking (photographed) and the entire engine and gearbox area is bone dry underneath. Test driven approx. 300 km —> drives well and is functional!

The engine is the 5‑cylinder OM647, known as a bomb‑proof unit. Combined with a smooth automatic gearbox and cruise control it delivers a near‑presidential ride with endless power, torque and stability. This combination is also known for very good fuel economy; in optimal conditions you can even achieve lower consumption figures than the 4‑cylinder model (200/220 CDI). Equipment includes many of the era’s top goodies: rain sensor, electric windows, automatic air conditioning, leather interior, electrically opening tailgate, integrated child seats (x2) in the rear; not to mention partly electrically adjustable front seats. I did mention the panorama roof?

Body in decent condition. Of course there are the typical signs for these kilometres — small dings and bumps — but the general impression is tidy! The sills are still solid underneath the plastics and the car tolerates lifting from service ramps, so it’s not like most of them. The interior shows its miles, but at least it’s leather!

The car sits on genuine all‑black 17" wheels with good, grippy Continental winter tyres. For summer there are well‑conditioned Dayton summer tyres included as loose wheels. Only one set of wheels.
