The City of Vaasa requests tenders for the lease of digital display sites located on streets and other public areas.

The City of Vaasa invites bids for five (5) digital display sites located on streets and other public areas. Each advertising site will be tendered separately using a two-stage auction method; the second stage is closed and run via the Huutokaupat.com service.

Two-stage auction:

In the first stage of the procedure the bidder submits a participation notification (one bid in this auction), based on which selected participants are separately invited

to a closed auction procedure (to determine the price of the lot).

Stage 1: a participation notification (submitting one bid for this notice), which is not a price bid but entitles the bidder to participate in the second stage of the competition

if the city accepts the bidder.

In stage 2 a bid price is submitted, which is the offered purchase price for the lot (a separate auction later only for invited bidders).

The city requires participation in the first stage in order to obtain the right to participate in the second stage of the procedure.

The bidder must meet the bidder-related requirements (see bidder-related factors).

If the bidder does not meet the bidder-related requirements, this will lead to exclusion from the tender. If the bidder acts as a private individual, the city will

check the participant's credit information; a negative credit mark will lead to exclusion from the procedure.

Those invited to the closed auction will be informed of the separate time for the closed auction and given access instructions for the auction site.

The City of Vaasa requests bids for the lease of digital display sites on streets and other public areas. The offered price must be for one year.

The intention is to conclude an agreement with the highest accepted bidder for five years, plus a two-year option at the offered price.

The target start date for the agreement is 1 July 2026.
