22-tonne pneumatic jack

Belongs to the group of point lifts designed to raise a vehicle along a vertical axis. The jack operates with compressed air that drives a hydraulic pump, producing pressure in the hydraulic cylinder. The rising pressure pushes the actuating telescopic section upwards; a pressure drop lets it descend. An important design feature is the lift length, which affects ease of use when accessing support points that are hard to reach. Such jacks are fitted with wheels for movement. Portable versions, much lighter and smaller for carrying in a service vehicle, are also available.

A fitted lubrication system reduces friction between contacting surfaces, which reduces wear and protects against corrosion. The oil often also acts as a coolant.

These jacks are used for maintenance of lorries, buses, agricultural machinery and armoured military vehicles.

The unit is supplied with two extension tips that increase the lifting height. Road wheels allow easy transport.

The lifting handle can be adjusted to three positions for improved ergonomics.
