The modern Kraft&Dele inverter welder is a unit designed for arc welding with coated electrodes. Shielded metal arc welding uses a consumable metal electrode coated with a flux.

The unit is intended for manual electric welding with electrodes 1.6–5.0 mm, depending on the chosen material and its thickness. Smooth welding current adjustment enables optimal welding even for beginners.

The welder is equipped with a VRD system which reduces the torch voltage when welding is not performed. This increases user safety by minimising the risk of electric shock. The correct voltage is restored when the arc is reignited.
