Timco units use the latest pure sine wave technology, which also permits the use of sensitive equipment such as computers. Fuel consumption is minimal because the generator runs in ECO mode at the engine speed required by the load. Enclosed models are significantly quieter in operation than conventional designs. The unit has an oil sensor that prevents starting if the oil level is too low.
