For sale: well‑maintained, recently inspected – the Camry, Toyota's top model, nicknamed "Japan's Mercedes" – with a newer body shell.

This is Toyota's luxury model and it shows. The car is exceptionally spacious both inside and in the boot. There's easily room for five large adults and weekend luggage fits comfortably.

The interior is almost like new. The exterior is tidy for its age; repairs are visible in the wheel arches (photographed) and were done properly. Not unsightly. Small surface rust spot on the boot (photographed). The only exterior negatives: the left front wing has had a dent (photographed) and the left‑hand mirror housing has slight damage (photographed). These aren’t noticeable unless you look for them.

The engine is Toyota's rugged petrol unit that just keeps going. A technical curiosity – a 2.4‑litre four‑cylinder: you won't break this engine by driving it. The largest four‑cylinder they made, torquey and pleasant, which together with the manual gearbox gives low consumption (my average 6.4 L/100 km). It's a chain engine, so no timing‑belt worries.

The car has good condition summer tyres on alloy wheels and comes with good condition studded winter tyres (spikes intact, 7 mm tread) on steel wheels.

Comfortable, big, spacious and warm – heats up quickly, a good winter car. In summer the automatic climate control keeps you cool.

The car drives like a gentleman; the interior is cosy and airy, the view from the driver’s seat excellent and both driver and passengers are comfortable. The seats are excellent to sit in with good adjustments. Interior smell is clean, non‑smoker. Lights are good, not faded, with a good beam and visibility at night.

The large engine guarantees safe overtaking and a pleasant ride. Overall mechanically bomb‑proof.

Equipment includes: electric windows x4, electric mirrors, central locking with key, boot and fuel‑filler lid operable from inside, automatic climate control, heated window, a powerful, good‑sounding stereo, trip computer, cruise control, towbar, two sets of tyres, two keys (one plastic part worn), front and rear fog lights, etc. Probably forgot to list some items.

Recent servicing (service book photographed):

Cabin air filter, spark plugs x4, replacement of outer CV‑boot covers – done within the last 2,000 km.

Starter replaced May 2025.

€698 receipt a year ago for partial renewal of the fuel‑tank piping.
