Easy, versatile Step‑In stair

You wouldn’t think one plastic step could serve so many purposes, but it does. We designed the Step‑In stair to make getting into the tub easier. The step naturally makes entering and exiting the tub simpler, but it also works as a seat for a smaller child whose head might otherwise dip under the water. Parents can relax better when the child has a seat sized just for them. In use we have also found the step to serve as a handy handrail — the step makes the Premium Step In Hot Tub a convenient spot to laze. The Step‑In solution makes the Premium Step In Hot Tub suitable for bathers of all ages and helps people with limited mobility to bathe.

Premium class brings extra size to your tub

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka we manufacture high‑quality hot tubs, and the Premium range takes things a step further thanks to its larger size. In the Premium range you get a bigger tub, which means first‑class, premium comfort. In smaller tubs feet can easily tangle in the middle, but an extra 30–40 cm in diameter works wonders! The tub’s water volume does not increase significantly and the Premium Step In Hot Tub reaches bathing temperature almost as quickly as smaller tubs. A cornucopia of choices

We apologise in advance for making part of the buying process slightly tricky: it’s a good problem. You have choices to make so you can get a Premium Step In Hot Tub tailored to your tastes. You may choose the plastic basin colour from five options. That’s not all. You can also choose the external cladding material from three options and pick the cover colour in black or grey. The colour range is inspired by nature, including e.g. marine blue and lichen grey. All colour schemes are compatible and work well together.

Insulated for northern conditions

To achieve first‑class insulation we lined the Premium Step In Hot Tub with proper thermal layers. Under the plastic basin there is 44 cm of EPS insulation, which keeps frost at bay and the bathing water hot even in colder winter weather. We also added ample thermo‑plastic insulation to the tub sides so the rim is insulated too. This highly efficient tub keeps heat so well that a well‑covered Premium Step In Hot Tub stays warm the next day. For winter bathing we recommend one firing before the next day’s bath. Active oxygen tablets added after the previous evening’s bath will also freshen the water for the next use. Then just enjoy again — or, in the case of children, create mayhem.

Red‑hot efficiency

Our powerful marine‑aluminium Arctic stove heats the water to bathing temperature in a couple of hours. The 35 kW marine aluminium stove is durable and conducts heat well. The stove has a neat glass inspection door so the wood‑heated tub creates a beautiful glow without having to open the door to check the fire.

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s marine‑aluminium stoves included in the hot tub package are made in Finland. The powerful stove handles even seawater, as it works with both fresh and brackish water. Carefully considered material details make the stove a hot top product. Remember not to use chlorine with marine aluminium, as chlorine oxidises marine aluminium. We recommend changing the water regularly and using active‑oxygen tablets (see accessories list). Active oxygen sanitises water for about 24 hours, after which the water can be used for irrigation as it contains no extra chemicals and is safer for children. Untreated water quickly forms a slimy film on the tub rim, but active oxygen prevents this process.

Carefree plastic basin

The uniquely shaped, ergonomically designed basin of the Premium Step In Hot Tub is rotationally moulded polyethylene by Jaxal. This plastic has memory — it keeps the shape it was moulded into. The low‑maintenance plastic basin stands the test of time, which is why we offer a ten‑year warranty.

Because the plastic basin has no moulded seams, dirt cannot collect in specific spots. Remember to keep the basin surfaces clean when changing water. This is easy with normal detergents. The most meticulous users may occasionally disinfect the basin, but remember to handle waste water appropriately.
