Frost mat, thermal insulation, closed-cell foam — GIANT roll!, Nivala

Giant closed-cell foam roll covering 270–300 m², which is 2.10 m wide, 12 mm thick closed-cell foam.

You can lay several layers from the roll on top of each other to increase the frost-insulating layer.

Closed-cell foam does not crumble into small pieces or absorb water; it even floats on water without sinking.

If a site insulated with closed-cell foam needs to be excavated, the foam can be recovered intact without breaking up into soil.

Closed-cell foam is also used for vehicle, caravan and other wall insulation.

The roll is second quality, but the material is suitable for many uses:

As a frost mat, vehicle sound and thermal insulation, sleeping pad, exercise mat, backing for archery targets and other applications where flexible yet easy-to-work, fire-safe padding, sound and thermal insulation are required.

Closed-cell foam does not absorb water and does not break down under soil into small crumbs or dust like rigid insulation boards.

Note to buyer:

Delivery is made to the address provided by the buyer via Rahtimaa transport within Mainland Finland.

Rahtimaa vehicles deliver Verkkokauppa Savenmaa roofing-sheet and similar deliveries, and the foam roll is carried with them.

Usually it is routed within a week or two.

Orders placed in our webshop may be sent in the same delivery.

If delivery is needed north of Rovaniemi, we will agree any extra freight separately.

Please note that Rahtimaa trucks operate when there are other deliveries on the same route,

which allows us to deliver the foam roll at the agreed freight.

Faster deliveries are available via Kaukokiito if required, but transport costs must be agreed separately (for example deliveries to Lapland may be more expensive than Rahtimaa's own transport).
