Safe felling requires great care and precision. Forget felling bars, old-fashioned wedges, strap ratchets and relying on luck. The Jokijärvi felling wedge can be used in several ways with a battery-powered impact wrench, a ratchet or a powerful cordless tool. Easy to carry.

The device's principle of operation is simple: once the felling direction is chosen and the required felling notch has been made in the tree, the wedge is inserted into the saw cut and the trigger is pressed, whereupon the threaded rod driven by the cordless tool pushes the wedge that moves between stainless-steel lamellae forward, opening the saw cut and causing the tree to fall in the desired direction.

The mechanical felling guide produces the force needed to fell trees exactly in the desired direction, easily and without tiring the faller. The safety distance must be twice the length of the tree being felled. A single 4 Ah battery can fell dozens of trees.
