Identified defects

During the test drive we made the following observations

  • Underbody severely rusted; rot under the plastic skirts. The vehicle cannot be lifted on a hoist to take photos.

  • After starting, the glow-plug warning light illuminates briefly then goes out. During the test drive the air suspension warning light also came on and the rear sags after the vehicle has stood for a day.

  • Steering wheel slightly off-centre.

  • Mechanically the car feels operational — usable as a winter beater until the end of March, after which for spare parts!


The vehicle has been test-driven by us and fluid levels have been checked. The vehicle has not been subject to a technical inspection by us and not all equipment functions have been tested.
