Directly from daily use, V6‑engined E‑sedan. Drives well, no major faults observed on the test drive. There is a knocking sound from the front when driving over a bump or other unevenness; this was not investigated further. The engine runs smoothly and the power is intact. The gearbox shifts fairly crisply, sometimes with a slight jerk. Some marks on the bodywork, surface rust as well as dents and scratches. Overall quite tidy for its age. Interior fairly clean, wear mainly on the driver's seat, steering wheel and centre armrest. Still suitable for daily use or as a tow vehicle for a trailer or caravan, towing capacity 1900 kg with brakes, 750 kg without brakes.

Identified defects

During a short test drive we made the following observations:

  • From daily use, drives reasonably well. Engine pulls nicely, the gearbox shifts well with fairly crisp changes.

  • There is a knocking noise from the front when driving over a bump; not investigated further.

  • Bodywork shows wear, but overall appearance is acceptable. Some surface rust is present — it is a 19‑year‑old Mercedes.

  • Studded winter tyres good, tread approximately 6–7 mm. Nokian Hakkapeliitta 9. Summer tyres poor, tread max 2 mm. Both sets on Mercedes wheels.

The car has not undergone a technical inspection by us, and the functionality of all equipment has not been tested. There may be hidden defects that were not apparent during the test drive. It is possible to inspect the car more closely before making a binding bid. Please arrange your visit in advance, thank you.
